YES ! A journal entry. i think i've been gone a long time .... i think. xD

anyways, our periodical exams are finished ! well, it just finished this friday, and yeah, i should've been more active then, but i'm really, really lazy !!! i still don't have a freaking scanner and i've got no good pencils to work with. and i'm looking for more inspiration~!! XD

so, in addition to my first manga who's characters i've only posted here, i've come up with a brand new idea that could be considered more patriotic. i mean, my first manga and the characters are all japanese and naturally, their culture is japanese. so yeah, i kinda thought it was time to focus more on how life goes here in the philippines, and just to share some of my experiences. yeah.

i've followed the japanese style of drawing since i first watched Magic Knight Rayearth and Cardcaptor Sakura so having japan as the central focus of my manga didn't bother me until the lack of japanese cultural knowledge hit me. so yeah, i guess it's pretty nice we have nihonggo lessons here, it could really help me a LOT, but it's quite a bum, really, because we've only got 2 or 4 decent meetings for the whole 1st quarter, O.O which brings me to remember our terrible nihonggo periodical test.

first of all, OUR CLASS wasn't taught japanese characters at all. okay, maybe the basics of katakana, like the a, e, i, o, u first, yeah, we copied that, two weeks before our periodical exams, yeah, and then a week after we didn't have nihonggo class for reasons unknown, and then poof, it's the periodical test ! woohoo. second, there was this other class the school picked that was supposed to welcome some japanese exchange students, and they were taught EVERYTHING. it's like they're in advanced classes and all that. and, third, the test we studied so hard for, thinking it was about japan's basic greetings and general information, was actually full of KATAKANA. and we don't even know how to write it. and we don't have the hand out for it. and though it was an "open hand-out" test, it was just so freaking hard ! I mean, there were like two 'tsu's or something, i mean, like they're the same but they're different in the way you write them, and 'n' looked a lot like another character it was confusing. yep, i beat we aced that test. truly aced it. TT.TT

weeeeell. yeah. that was supposed to be just some update ... we have a mastery test about photosynthesis and cellular respiration tomorrow, and my brain's dead from too much crazy information, and yeah. xDD

oh yeah, the tag, it's my favorite font right now. so yeah. xDDDD

whew. finally back. took me quite long to get back in the internet world.

we just moved to our new house. so, new house, new life (new furniture? nah. xD) new place. new internet connection, i'm really happy i'm back, i missed deviantart. (even if i'm not really that active) xD

anyways, i feel really crazy right now.

hmm. let's see, what to talk about. well, first off, i discovered a secret ! and that secret just ...astonished me so. i mean, when i found out about it, i was like "OMG !!!!!!" i mean, it's just really really so hard to believe, i was really really ... surprised.

next ! during ict class, i started going all emo and sad and silent nd moody and all that stuff. i'm crazy that way. so, i didn't know why i was being silent that time, but i think something really hit me hard during ict time. and it's the longest that ive kept my mouth shut and my voice soft and nearly a whisper. i was kind of blank for, uhm, the whole afternoon i think ? i got a few laughs sometimes in between those hours, but that was when my 'mood cycle' kicked in.

yes, my mood cycle. it's like, first, i'm normal. then i go happy. then i go crazy. then i go emo. then i go crazy. then i go happy. then i'm normal. xD gaaah, that was weird !!!!

yeah, so i was really really quiet the whole day. i was so unnatural ! it just wasn't like me to be silent. plus, once i go silent, it's too noticeable. i don't like being noticed when i'm being moody. xD but hey, who does ? but at least i wasn't the only one out of character. someone who was usually so mean was quite polite to me the whole time i was emo. then again, it's not like that someone actually talks to me, it just that when THAT someone did, that someone wasn't sending off some stupid crappy aura that all of our classmates hate. and yes, i am hiding who this someone is because no one, not even my friends, know about this someone. xD

anyways, next !! during dismissal, there were these 3 small little boys who looked like some kindergarten brats. later they would be identified as the "pisil-pisil gang" they were so freaking irritating. they were running around the streets pushing bigger kids around (and by big i mean that they are teenie weenie little stupid demons and we, on the other hand, are as tall as skyscrapers. plus, we're high school kids. that would be junior/middle school plus the first year of high school in other countries. HIGH SCHOOL. )just who do those runts think they are ?!!! and they even know BAD WORDS ! KINDERGARTEN AGE + the bad word "F**K" do not mix. yes, they said F**K and MOTHERF**KER.

so... that's the end of my blog. xD i'm sorry this blog isn't that ... ahm, it's just unnatural !!! i know it is. xDD waaaaaaaaaa.

whew !

it's raining and raining and raining and raining. xDD

because of the h1n1 flu, most schools here have suspended classes. if not because of the h1n1, it's because of the typhoons and all that. i'm so happy whenever classes are suspended, but knowing that we have to make up for the lost classes feels stupid because they're gonna go take away sembreak and shorten christmas break and school days may last until the second or third week of april, and there's no crappy field trip to boot ! bam. at least we've got our stipend, though we're hoping for a raise. the authorities promised we'd get P1000 as our stipend if last year's sophomores top our National Achievement Test. Well waddya know, they did make it to the top ! ...but where's our P1000 ???

*i hope all those who have been inflicted with the h1n1 flu would get better and those who haven't been inflicted will be kept safe from the illness. *

so yeah. hmmm. it's raining and we're moving. xD whew! it's pretty hard, because we have all this furniture and stuff (not to mention i have more papers than i should ... actually these papers are keepsakes of my art ! ...even if most look like crap. xD) and they're all not really gonna fit in our new house. and we have to sort out all this things and all that. my manga's buried somewhere in all these boxes, i can't get it and have them scanned at my friend's place yet. but i am sooooooo itching to scan it, but then again, it's not really that clean yet, and my friend says i need to polish it some more, but i can't really blame her, i just did my manga on a whim, i didn't expect i'd get so serious with it, and yes, i need to breathe. *inhale, exhale* ahaha.

anyways! i posted a poem ! xDD

ahaha. i couldn't post any drawings yet, i'm too lazy. so i opted to post for a poem i made instead. xD here's the link ! please do read it. [link]

so like i said: the poem's meaning. so i just got this idea after reading the poem a few times.

so, there's this man who goes and abducts kids and kills them for reasons i cannot fathom. xD and everytime he gets a child, it'll always be a child playing under the rain and everytime he kills a child, there'll always be blood sprayed everywhere in the crime scene. as such, this man was dubbed 'rain' by the general public.

well rain was a very sly one so he never got caught. in fact, his insanity was hidden beneath his cool and smart facade. what's more, kids love him and (he acts like) he loves them too, that everyone thinks it's quite impossible such a person could be considered a suspect.
*rain's alter ego can be quite detached, so even if children like him, he won't really be spending most of his time with them. he just quickly gets along with them xD*

one time, while under the rain, (something happened that made him pissed, i don't know what yet xD) he found an orphanage and decided to kill everyone there, even if it's not a kid. since the nuns knew him, they decided to let him in, not knowing he was rain. as he goes and kills the children and the nuns, and finally gets done with all of them, he sees a young girl watching him. he was about to kill her when she laughed at him.

rain wasn't able to kill the girl, because he kind of liked her eccentric attitude. she was quite sane most of the time, and he made her his accomplice. funny thing about her was that the girl always laughs so heartily whenever he kills. one time though, she asks him why he kills, and he says killing them is like telling them he loves them. [[ okay, i don't know where i got that insane idea from. ]]

so rain learns that the girl has a traumatic past that made her go crazy. the girl has been influenced so much by his actions that she slowly becomes a burden [e.g. they always almost get caught by the authorities, and then she always go dancing in the public right after they killed someone and brags about her gory achievement, etc.] he learns that he wasn't such a nice guy and so he wants to repent.

rain tries to change the girl, but all evil thoughts has gone to her head and she has gone sadistic, to the point that she injures rain as a sign of her 'love' for him. rain then decides to surrender to the authorities and have the girl go to jail with him but she escapes.

and so, the girl goes crying under the rain about how rain left her. she remembers the tune she often plays in the orphanage [which is rain rain go away] and incorporates lyrics into her song [which is my poem] and sings it. several years later, she wanders off and goes to a church where a man was being given the holy order [did i say that right?] and realizes it is rain. she goes blank for a moment and then starts singing her song, attracting everyone's attention. rain recognizes her and walks up to her, and does the sign of the cross in front of her. when he finished ....


well there. ahahaha. xD well anyways, i hope to post that story here. i haevn't written it yet, but i'll try.



anyway, thanks to this poem, i've gone back on track to writing again,! i was really silent the whole summer and i was never in the mood to write stories or anything, but now i'm back! xDD

oh and my friend, the author of the story that i made a poster [-like ...i think ? xD] of, i'm trying to convince her to upload her literature here. xD she's really a great writer, you'll love her for sure. anyways, the poster like thingie. it's not really a poster, but it's kinda like that, agh. never mind, anyways, it's on my page right ? the featured drawing, that. xD yeah. so here's to tracey, i'm praying she'll join DA.

well, i'll be off to read some mangas now ! oh i hope they've updated gakuen alice. DAMN, YUKIHARA'S FREAKING DEAD !!!!!!!!!!!! NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO !!!!!!!
